The Dublin to Galway Route

We run M50 → M4 → M6 westbound — 210 km from Cloghran to Galway city centre, 2 hours 20 minutes empty and 2 hours 45 minutes loaded. The M6 between Kinnegad and Galway is uncongested most days, so Dublin-Galway is one of our faster long-distance routes.

Galway city itself has the challenge. Narrow medieval streets in the West End, Claddagh and Spanish Arch areas can’t take larger rigid trucks — we know which streets take a 7.5-tonne and which need a smaller shuttle. Eyre Square area delivery requires timing around the pedestrianisation and evening festival traffic in summer.
